Reviews of Lora's Books:
FAVORITE SIGN BOOK! My daughter really likes Lora Heller's "Baby Fingers: I'm Feeling. . ." board book. There are several books in this series and I haven't had a chance to get the rest of them, yet. But I'm planning on buying this series because it's so good. And I'm very picky! It has pictures of toddlers and children making the sign and then a description of the sign beside it. My daughter likes to copy the kids in the pictures. ~Holly in VA, 11/9/07
Sign Language for Kids: A Fun & Easy Guide to American Sign Language (June 2004) "Heller, a master's level teacher of the deaf, proves she really knows her stuff in this well-thought-out book, which delves into the subject with zest and has a subtitle that's right on the mark. Kids will use this guide on their own, and teachers can use it in class. Even readers older than the target audience will come away greatly enriched and informed." ~Stephanie Zvirin, Booklist Starred Review
Baby Fingers: Teaching Your Baby to Sign (September 2004)
Barnes & Noble Customer Review: "Babies love it!" My daughter loves this book. She loves the pictures of other babies and young children, and she loves to sign. This is a great way to teach yourself and your baby the first words. ~Erin, Mommy
The Best Board Book Series
Finally, a board book series teaching REAL AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE through photos of REAL kids signing. These are beautiful, and my baby is now signing. So cool.

Sign Language for ALL Kids!
I just purchased Sign Language for Kids for my school library and several personal copies to give as gifts. This is a fabulous book that includes signs for ALL kids, a range of ages, ethnic backgrounds, abilities... it's the best I've seen.
