Music for Babies

The focus of this class is to nurture the bond between parent and child through music. Activities include singing, movement to music, musical play and reading books, which aid the baby’s visual and auditory tracking, and language development. We incorporate live and recorded music. A wonderful complement to our music and sign language program. For newborns through toddlers.  Now join Wen for interactive and developmental musical play–she incorporates guitar, puppets and hand held instruments.  This class will engage you and your babies with harmonies and lots of fun!

Music Lessons

If you or your child is interested in learning to play an instrument or refining current skills, our teachers are ready to teach! Mike is proficient on guitar, banjo, and mandolin. Jenna provides a more classical approach to piano and music theory, as well as adapted lessons and music therapy for children with special needs. Looking for more?  Wen offers piano and violin- also a classical approach in addition to adapted lessons and music therapy!  Ian joins our teaching team offering piano to the beginning student 0f all ages, focusing on reading music as well as playing by ear. We can also offer private or group voice lessons/vocal ensemble for you and your friends or family.

Music Therapy

Creative Arts Therapy is predicated on the assumption that people can grow through use of imagination and the various forms of creative expression, in place of or in addition to traditional “talk” therapy. Unlike traditional arts education, the process of creation is emphasized rather than the final product.

Individual and small group music therapy can be scheduled and designed to meet the needs of your child and family, in your space or ours. Creative Arts Therapies can stand alone, as well as supplement and incorporate speech, physical, occupational, and psycho-therapies.

Baby Fingers has three music therapists on staff! Contact Lora for details.

Contact us for class fees and to set up a class visit. If space allows, you can visit a class and join us part way through a session for a pro-rated tuition. We offer discounts for referring a friend and for siblings. Ask for details.
